What Families Say
Our child just transitioned our to Kindergarten and it was one of the saddest days as we had to say goodbye to the amazing team of educators at Hundred Languages. Their compassion for the work they do shows in how each child grows and interacts with them. I wish I could keep my son there always! Their kindness, patience, and understanding through challenging transitions is just some of the hundred reasons I would recommend this centre.
Our oldest just completed a year at this daycare and our youngest just started. We love this daycare so much, we drive from East Maple Ridge just to take the kids there. The facility is brand new with new toys, games, books, and all materials. The teachers are all amazing and feel like an extension of our family even. Children are encouraged to explore, be creative and curious. His is the best daycare we have ever experienced. Highly recommend!
I can't say enough good things about this place - The teachers are amazing, caring and honestly have become really close family friends. This is how this daycare operates from the heart. They love the children like they were their own and take care of them like no other place I have ever been! If you want a loving place where your children will have chance to be exposed to a second language and amazing experiences with great friends - this is the place to be!
Most amazing! The facility is clean and kept well, endless amount of proper learning equipment and toys. The teachers are one of the most caring and understanding group of care providers in one facility. I would highly recommend this day care. Mrs Sandy is truly heaven sent.
Sandra, her staff, and the facility she runs are the epitome of what quality child care should be. She is fully dedicated to each and every child that is blessed to be in her care and absolutely makes you feel as if it is one big family. The facility itself is brand new, clean, and fully stocked with toys and supplies meant to spark the child’s creative and imaginative side. My son is excited to go there every day and consistently leaves with a smile on his face. Sandra and Hundred Languages Daycare absolutely meet and far exceed any expectations I had.
Hundred Languages Child care is a beautiful environment for little ones. The owner, Sandy, has worked so hard to create a warm, loving and creative space and she has achieved it! My son was one of the first children to start soon after she opened and he has grown in so many ways since he started to attend Hundred Languages. Sandy and her lovely team work hard everyday to provide the best space for these children and to make a community for the families.
What a wonderful day care ! Happy with our choice 100% . Well Organized. New furniture , lots of toys , convenient location. You can see that the educators love kids and what they are doing. You just can’t fake that! Definitely recommend!.
A wonderful team of ladies, who truly care for the individuality of each child and different styles of learning. I also love that they take the children out every day to the park, and to the farmers market to learn about different foods. If you want a place where you know your child will be loved and cared for, that you can have a connection with the people who are looking after your most precious gift, then you need to come here.
I want to thank all staff members and the owner, Sandra, for running such a wonderful day care! I have known them since August 2018, I trusted them my little boy and can not be happier with the care they provide to him! He loves the place very much! I feel like it is second home and another family to him! Everything is so well organized and planned for children to have fun and learn! Very clean and safe place as well. Highly recommend!
Sandy is an amazingly loving, kind, intelligent, strong educator who cares deeply about each of the children in her care. We have felt like family since day one. We recommend her program to anyone seeking care for their littles. The added bonus of the program being bilingual in Spanish is fantastic!
My friend's son goes to this day care and I visited it a few times. Every time I came there, I saw happy children. The staff members are very polite, nice with children and professional at the same time. Feel safe to live a child there!
It is obvious that Sandy and the other daycare teachers here genuinely love what they do each and every day with the children. My daughter loves going to her daycare and her teachers all provide personalized attention to each child and genuine care for them all. I feel like I am dropping my daughter off with people that will take the same care of my daughter as for their own child. They are wonderful and in the short amount of time they have been open, I feel like we have already established a wonderful relationship ourselves. I am also loving that we finally have a place for my daughter to have exposure to Spanish! Superior care! Thanks for being so amazing!
Sandy, Miriam and Ida have made my Children feel safe and welcome at their wonderful centre, they keep them happy and busy with new activities every day. Total peace of mind dropping your kids off to this sparkling clean, bright, creative and cozy space.
"No way. The hundred is there." …
is the final sentence of the poem "The hundred Languages of Children" by Loris Malaguzzi, founder of the Reggio Emilia approach. It condenses the purpose of Hundred Languages Childcare, a place where children are reminded daily that they have a hundred ways of being, of loving, of thinking, and speaking.
Reggio Emilia is a small city in northern Italy, founded after World War II. Loris Malaguzzi inspired the education experience that is currently known as Emergent Curriculum or Reggio Emilia approach. The service HLCC provides has its roots in this learning philosophy and is the reason for the center's name. In Reggio pedagogy, the atelier (art studio) is the heart of the school and is described as "the place of what is possible". At HLCC the main component is an Art studio where children are exposed daily to multiple materials and techniques. The environment is welcoming and beautiful, and considered as the third teacher. HLCC setting is simple, uses natural materials creating a rich ambiance for learning.
